Abby Hase grew up in the small quiet town of Altoona, WI. She began studying music at the age of eight, playing the piano. She fell in love with music as well as performing, and added flute, voice and theater to her training at the age of twelve. During her musical and theater study, she performed in many concerts and recitals around town, and community theater productions at the Eau Claire Children’s Theater.

Abby is proud to be a union member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA. She is a graduate of the Ithaca College Master of Music program with a degree in vocal performance, and the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire with a bachelor of music in vocal performance. During her time in New York, Abby has had the great pleasure performing in many shows with the Manhattan Repertory Theater (MRT) in Midtown Manhattan. She also had the privilege to direct the play “Who I Am” by Richard Thomas Henle at MRT. Abby loves performing new work, and has enjoyed singing in new musical readings around NYC. Houdini Among the Spirits by Chris Ceraso (librettist) and Bill Zeffiro (composer) has been an exciting project and an honor to be a part of during the creative process.

When she isn’t on stage, Abby enjoys running through Manhattan’s beautiful parks and walking paths, or training at her favorite boxing studio.
