BIO

Hi There!

Welcome to my website. I am so excited and honored to share my journey with you!

I'm a midwestern girl from a little town called Altoona, Wisconsin. I fell in love with music as a kid and began studying piano at age 8. With the encouragement of a treasured teacher, I began singing/ acting and added flute to my bag of tricks as well. My adoration of performing was cultivated by many concerts and recitals around town, along with community theater productions at the Eau Claire Children's Theater.

As a young professional actress, I am proud to be a member of the Actors Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA unions. I hold a master of music degree with vocal performance emphasis from Ithaca College and a bachelor of music degree with a vocal performance emphasis from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire.

My time in New York City has been an exciting adventure. I've had the great pleasure of performing in multiple productions at the Manhattan Repertory Theater. While there, I befriended a fantastic writer, Richard Thomas Henle, and had the honor of directing his play "Who I Am," which premiered at MRT fall of 2017. Being a part of new work is something very close to my heart. I had the pleasure of singing in multiple readings/ workshops of the new musical "Houdini Among the Spirits" by composer Bill Zeffiro and librettist Chris Ceraso. I also was a part of the new musical reading of "Chump" directed by Nick Leavens at The Duplex.

When I'm not on stage, you can (try to) catch me running through Manhattan's beautiful parks/ trails, punching large bags at my favorite boxing studio, or stretching out in a Pilates or yoga class.

Please do not hesitate to contact me via "contact" button with any questions. I look forward to meeting and sharing my work with you.

Warmly, Abby
